Keep asking Why... Why... Why?
Why are we making this? Why do users need it? Why isn't the existing design working? Tell me more. The only way to understand and improve the user experience is to ask LOTS of questions. Interviewing users and hearing their unique perspectives is one of my favorite parts of my job.
Enjoy the Process
I love solving puzzles. I find the journey of unpacking complex problems, seeking out new knowledge, and going down informational rabbit holes is just as exciting as finding solutions. The design process is full of surprises, mistakes, roadblocks, and discoveries. Every project is an opportunity to refine methods and expand my UX toolkit.
Never Stop Learning
In a classroom, online, at meetups, in Facebook groups. I always welcome opportunities to learn something new about users, myself, and the world around me. Technology and the people we design it for are ever-changing. It is essential to continuously learn, adapt, and grow with the flow.

Things I do for fun...
     ●   Camping, hiking, yoga (sometimes with goats)
     ●   Traveling, walking tours, eating local food and wine
     ●   Going on walks with my cat Frankie
     ●   Watching reality TV, going to outdoor movies, listening to podcasts
